Personality- Clare is loud, brash and outgoing, with no tact or delicacy. She's a good liar, but fiercely loyal to her close friends. She's stubborn and sometimes mean, but she always sees the best in people and has a distinct motherly quality about her, the especially comes out when teaching. She's a strict but fair teacher, and always has a way of engaging her class. She'll always have a song and dance, but if someone get on her bad side, watch out, because her bite is worse than her bark.

History- Clare was stolen when she was a baby, and passed from ship to ship until she ended up being raised by Space Pirates who operated around the Greater Outer Britain quadrant. The Pirates taught her many things, like fighting, singing, and drinking. When she was fifteen the Pirates were captured by the Feds, but being a minor, Clare got a choice to reinvent herself. Training to be a spy, and then a teacher, Clare re-established herself as a loyal and dedicated member of the Feds. However, evidence of her pirate upbringing is easy to spot in all aspects of her character. This creates a distrust between her and other Feds, which has given her enemies both inside and out of the workplace. A personal favorite of Ion, she continues to excel, teaching the next generation of Fed spies. Nobody except Ion and the Pirates she's battles know she's am ex-Pirate.
