A cautionary tale

This is a little apology I whipped up in half an hour
In which two teenagers are terribly sorry
There were once two friends, named Chockie and Deagle
(Whose hearing was not nearly as good as a beagle's)
They were friendly and happy, a tralala pair,
'til they went overboard and were caught in Chaos's snare.
Both Deagle and Chockie loved a good time,
(Among those were things that did rhyme)
Their friend Luna said "Hay! I've got something for you,
It'd be a riot with you two!"
A riot it was, but not in a good sense,
As the teen's intelligence was not worth two pence.
For they mucked it up badly,
And the two teens were sent away sadly.
And so here they are, to repent for their crimes.
They were only trying to have some good times.
It started out as comedy gold,
But ended terribly, which, for them, is an ending growing old.
Me and chockiedockie freestyling.
It would be cool if they responded in rhyme,
after that crazily wild time.
But alas! My wishes shall not come true,
But instead leave me feeling quite blue.
I couldn't agree more
But waiting for them to do so would be a great bore
You see, they refuse to respond in kind
mostly because we got ourselves into quite the bind.
As awesome as that eventuality may be,
I fear it is something we shall never see.
For we have screwed up, royally.

Has life ever thrown you such a curveball that you just don't know what to do? My life is just so fucked up right now, I don't know what to do.
It's so insane that I don't believe it, but it's so goddamn true, I just...
Yuck. I feel so guilty. If I had tried harder then maybe things would have been different. I don't really deserve to cry- but I am anyway. I laughed. Bitterly, just to stop the crying.
It's the big, ugly, truth, on the stone cold floor. Out in the open for all to whisper and gossip about. They didn't know, they just hear the name and the story. They don't deserve to cry, when they just stood by.
